Tucson, AZ – Man Killed in Train Accident Near North San Pedro Street
Tucson, AZ (June 17, 2019) – On June 17th, a man was killed after his vehicle was rear-ended struck by a train on Monday morning.
The accident occurred in Benson, east-southeast of Tucson, near North San Pedro Street. According to authorities, it appears that the 24-year-old victim saw the approaching train but remained in its path as it approached his vehicle, causing the fatal auto accident.
The deadly collision happened just before 10:00 a.m. Benson detectives and Union Pacific officials are still investigating the accident.
