Injurious Crashes in Arizona
The Arizona Department of Transportation’s most recent accident report showed that there were more than 130,000 crashes across the state in 2018. Unfortunately, these wrecks resulted in numerous injuries for drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. In fact, at least 37,000 wrecks involved at least two victims with serious injuries that required urgent medical attention or hospitalization.
When drivers or their passengers sustain injuries in a serious accident, they often have to cope with both physical problems and emotional trauma. Whether it’s documenting their injuries and negotiating with insurance companies or dealing with lost wages, victims pay the price for other drivers’ negligence. Thankfully, victims and their families can seek help from a personal injury lawyer, especially if they’ve been involved in a wreck that occurred through no fault of their own.
