Tucson, AZ (May 15, 2020) – Officers with the Tucson Police Department were on the scene of a serious collision near the intersection of Swan Road and 22nd Street.

According to Officer Frank Magos, a spokesperson with the TPD, said the call for the crash came in around 8:40 p.m. on Friday. Per reports, the accident involved a van and a motorcyclist and sent at least one person to the hospital. One of the drivers stayed at the scene, Magos said in an email, and the other victim was sent to Banner University Medical Center via ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
