Tucson, AZ – 2-Car Crash Closes Left Lanes on I-10 at Palo Verde Rd

Tucson, AZ (September 8, 2019) – A two-vehicle wreck closed the left lane of Interstate 10 on Sunday afternoon, causing traffic jams in the area.

Authorities arrived on the scene around 1:30 p.m., where they encountered a white pickup truck with severe front-end damage and a blown-out tire. Officials say the truck collided with a sedan in the left lanes of I-10 at milepost 264, near Palo Verde Road. Both vehicles were traveling eastbound at the time of the crash.

Paramedics also responded to the wreck in order to assist injured victims. Officials are still working to determine the cause of the crash and have not released further details.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Multi-Vehicle Collisions in Arizona

Numerous car accidents happen every day on Arizona highways, ranging from minor fender benders to severe crashes. Data published by the Arizona Department of Transportation indicates that nearly 130,000 crashes took place throughout the state last year, with nearly 11,000 of those accidents involving at least two cars.

Collisions involving multiple vehicles are often stressful and can lead to tragic, unforeseen situations. Victims of these multi-car crashes often face emotional distress, long-term physical problems, complications with insurance companies, and even lost wages or extended time away from work. But victims and their families can seek help from a personal injury lawyer and learn more about safeguarding their legal rights after a crash.
