Tucson, AZ – UPDATE: Paloma Gavino Killed in Multi-Car Crash at Snyder Rd
Tucson, AZ (January 5, 2020) – Sheriff’s deputies responded to a rollover crash that occurred northeast of Tucson on Saturday night that resulted in two fatalities and serious injuries.
According to an alert from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Snyder Road west of Houghton Road. Officers say that one of the passenger vehicles involved had multiple occupants and rolled over following an initial collision.
Deputies and medics with Rural Metro Fire Department rendered aid to all the occupants, but two of the passengers, a 13-year-old girl and 26-year-old Paloma Gavino, were pronounced deceased on scene.
The driver of the vehicle, as well as two other passengers, were transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
