Tucson, AZ – William S. Woodin Killed in Motorcycle Crash at Glenn St & Treat Ave


Tucson, AZ (January 20, 2020) – 47-year-old William S. Woodin died shortly after being involved in a motorcycle accident at the intersection of East Glenn Street and North Treat Avenue, according to officers from the Tucson Police Department.

The accident occurred on Sunday, just before 2:30 p.m. Officers from Operations Division Midtown were dispatched to the intersection after receiving a report of a serious injury collision involving a motorcycle. The Tucson Fire Department rendered aid to Woodin at the scene and he was transported to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Woodin later passed away from his injuries.

According to interviews conducted by officers and detectives, a silver 2003 Toyota Echo passenger car was traveling southbound on Treat Avenue when it collided with Woodin’s motorcycle. The driver of the Toyota remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing and no charges or citations have been issued at this time.
