Tucson, AZ – Woman Struck & Seriously Injured in Crash at Flowing Wells Rd & Sol Place
Tucson, AZ (April 14, 2020) – A woman suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a car in Tucson late Monday evening.
Officials say that the incident happened around 10:20 p.m. near the intersection of Flowing Wells Road and Sol Place. According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the woman was taken to the hospital via ambulance and remains there in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing, but authorities do not believe speed or impairment were factors in the accident. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area as police continued to investigate the cause of the accident.
