Tucson, AZ – Fatal Bicycle Accident on West Fort Lowell Road


Tucson, AZ (July 18, 2019) – On Wednesday morning, July 17th, police were called to the scene of a fatal bicycle accident that took place on West Fort Lowell Road.

According to police, the accident took place between a bicyclist and a motor vehicle. Neither of the parties involved has since been identified.

The crash was so severe that it closed down Fort Lowell in both directions around 8:45 a.m. However, the road was completely reopened by 12:30 p.m.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
