Tucson, AZ – Multiple Patients Critically Injured in Car Crash on State Route 85
Tucson, AZ (July 23, 2019) – Medical care was given by multiple patients who fell victim to a car crash on State Route 85 in Tucson. The accident occurred on Friday afternoon at 2:10 p.m.
At the time, police claim that a border patrol agent was patrolling around the area when he noticed a head-on collision that took place between an SUV and a sedan that had eight occupants. Some of the occupants were identified as children.
Local EMS and border patrol agents treated multiple parties who had injuries, as well as prepared landing zones for four helicopters that arrived at the scene of the crash to assist those with serious injuries.
Some children were even taken to Phoenix-area hospitals.
The accident is currently being investigated by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
