Tucson, AZ (June 18, 2019) – Police were called to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident that took place at the intersection of Speedway Boulevard and Main Avenue.

Tucson Police have been working on their investigation and have determined that the victim, 37-year-old Brennan Thomas, was taken to the Banner University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased due to serious injuries.

At the time, Thomas had been traveling eastbound on Speedway headed into the intersection. The driver struck him and stopped at the scene of the accident.

Police have determined that the driver was intoxicated at the time but no charges have yet been filed. The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
