Tucson, AZ – Two Killed in Fatal Crash at Tangerine Road Intersection


Tucson, AZ (August 22, 2019) – Yesterday morning, police reported that two people were killed in a fatal crash that took place at a local intersection in Tucson. One passed away at the scene while the other lost their life at a hospital.

The crash, according to police, involved three vehicles and took place at the intersection of Tangerine Road and La Canada Drive. The roadway was closed down for quite some time following the accident.

The victim who was killed at the scene of the accident was identified as an elderly male in one of the vehicles. The other victim, an 85-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital with severe trauma. While there, police confirmed that she succumbed to her injuries.

Police have also said that two people were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police have not confirmed how the accident occurred but continue their investigation at this time.
