Wickenburg, AZ – Fatality Reported After Head-on Collision on US 93


Wickenburg, AZ (February 9, 2020) – A person has died after a head-on collision that occurred on Sunday.

According to local police officers, the crash occurred on U.S. 93 outside of Wickenburg around 3:15 p.m. near milepost 192. The Arizona Department of Public Safety said that U.S. 93 was closed going both ways at milepost 192 for a couple of hours. 

The Department of Public Safety originally said it was a two-car collision but recently tweeted that it was a three-car collision. 

Another driver was airlifted to a local area hospital with serious injuries, the department said. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
