Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Reported in Semi-Truck Crash on I-10 at Seventh Ave
Phoenix, AZ (February 4, 2020) – A trailer carrying dirt, tree branches, and other materials rolled over inside the Interstate 10 tunnel in Phoenix early on Tuesday, resulting in at least one injury.
According to officers with the Phoenix Police Department, the load spread across two westbound lanes at Seventh Avenue shortly before 6:00 a.m. and collided with at least one other vehicle. Phoenix EMTs were at the scene to treat injured victims, though they did not release identifying information about those involved.
The tunnel was finally cleared around 8:00 a.m., though the accident remains under investigation.
