According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the wreck occurred near Cordes Junction, which is about 55 miles north of Phoenix. Drivers were advised to detour around the closure by taking State Routes 169 and 69 while police investigated the crash.

Truck Accidents in Arizona
When it comes to truck accidents involving tractor-trailers, box trucks, and cargo vans, the results for victims are often devastating. In fact, a total of 97 deaths and 2,728 injuries were recorded by the Arizona Department of Transportation in 2012 as a result of truck accidents.
Additionally, when victims are involved in accidents with trucks contracted to large companies, they could face an uphill battle with insurance companies. But those affected by these sudden and stressful crashes can seek help from a personal injury lawyer, especially when they’ve been involved in a wreck resulting from other drivers’ negligent actions.
