Cordes Lake, AZ – Injuries Reported in Truck Collision on I-17 SB
Cordes Lake, AZ (April 8, 2020) – Authorities in Cordes Lake say the left lanes of southbound Interstate 17 were closed for hours on Wednesday afternoon due to a serious collision involving a truck.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the wreck occurred near Cordes Lake and Bumble Bee. Local authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck, though they say the truck involved collided with at least one other vehicle around 4:00 p.m. Paramedics and fire rescue units were at the scene to treat victims, but it isn’t clear if any injured persons were transported to the hospital via ambulance.
The accident remains under investigation.
