Glendale, AZ – Injuries Caused by Multi-Car Crash on L-101 at 7th St
Glendale, AZ (August 8, 2020) – At least one person was injured after a serious multi-car accident occurred in North Glendale on Saturday afternoon.
According to officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, it appears that at least three or four vehicles were involved in the accident, which happened around 2:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Loop 101 near 7th Street. DPS said no one was sustained life-threatening injuries, though Glendale paramedics were at the scene to treat victims and may have transported one victim to an area hospital.
The crash closed the left lanes of Loop 101 eastbound, though the freeway has since been reopened. Officers with the Glendale Police Department are still investigating the wreck at this time and have not released further details about the cause of the wreck or the extent of the victims’ injuries.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
