Kingman, AZ – Man Killed in Fatal Truck Accident on I-40


Kingman, AZ (August 22, 2019) – Early Friday, a man lost his life in a fatal truck accident that closed down the eastbound lanes of I-40 near Kingman and the California border.

The Department of Public Safety and police officials have been working on their investigation and found that a box truck rear-ended a tractor-trailer around 2:26 a.m. the morning of the incident.

The driver of the box truck was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Police have since identified him as 53-year-old Paul Kramer.

The other truck driver received injuries in the accident but is expected to recover.

Police had the roadway closed down for several hours but completely reopened around 5:30 a.m. The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
