Littlefield, AZ (August 8, 2019) – Around 2:30 p.m. on August 6, police were called to the scene of a car accident with injuries that took place on I-15 in Littlefield.

The crash, according to police, took place at the mouth of the Virgin River Gorge and led to traffic delays in the area. Police claim that the accident took place between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle.

Police are not sure of the circumstances that caused the vehicles to collide with one another but have said that injuries were reported and paramedics could be seen in the area.

The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
