Marana, AZ – Motorcyclist Killed in Three-Car Crash at W Marana Rd & I-10

Marana, AZ (November 30, 2020) – One person has died after a three-vehicle accident that occurred in Marana on Friday afternoon.

Per reports from the Marana Police Department, a semi-tractor trailer, a truck, and a motorcycle were involved in the accident, which occurred at the 11800 block of West Marana Road near Interstate 10. Officers said that the crash happened around 1:40 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

MPD said the motorcyclist involved in the accident was pronounced dead at the scene, but no other serious injuries were reported in connection to the crash. The other two drivers involved in the accident remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation.

Details surrounding the incident were limited, and the cause of the crash is not known at this time. Officers with the MPD said the accident remains under investigation.
