Phoenix, AZ – 3-Vehicle Accident Results in Injuries at Deck Park Tunnel

Phoenix, AZ (September 28, 2019) – A three-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon resulted in several injuries.

Phoenix Police Department officials say that at least three vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred on Interstate 10 westbound, also known as the Papago Freeway, at the Deck Park Tunnel. The collision appeared to occur when two sedans and one SUV traveling in the right lanes collided in a chain-reaction collision. Phoenix Paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after the accident occurred at 5:51 p.m. to assist injured victims, though it’s unclear if victims were treated at the scene or transported to the hospital via ambulance.

However, all three vehicles appeared to sustain severe damage, and one was towed from the scene. Authorities say that the investigation of the accident is ongoing at this time.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
