Phoenix, AZ – Crash Blocks Right Lane in I-10 Deck Park Tunnel
Phoenix, AZ (July 10, 2019) – A car accident on Tuesday afternoon, July 9th blocked the right lane on I-10 westbound at the tunnel.
According to officials, the incident occurred around 12:43 p.m. in the Deck Park Tunnel, causing traffic to slow for several miles. Reports showed that the injury accident appeared to involve multiple vehicles, which collided in the right lane and blocked traffic.
Fire rescue units, as well as local police, were dispatched to the scene and assisted the auto accident victims. All lanes re-opened around 1:00 p.m., though the updated condition of the injured victim(s) and their identities have not been released.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the I-10 crash.
