Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Reported in Truck Crash on L-101 at Northern Ave
Phoenix, AZ (May 6, 2020) – Traffic slowed to a crawl on Wednesday after a serious crash occurred on northbound Loop 101 near the Northern Avenue exit.
Authorities from the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) say that a semi-truck collided with several other vehicles in the right lanes. Debris was also strewn in the area, and multiple fire trucks and ambulances surrounded the scene.
DPS officials say that there were injuries reported, but it’s not clear how many people were hurt. The crash shut down the entire highway for several hours, with only the left lane passable.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
