Phoenix, AZ – Injury Wreck Closes Intersection of 35th & Northern Aves
Phoenix, AZ (September 15, 2019) – A serious accident resulting in injuries closed the intersection of 35th Avenue and Northern Avenue early Sunday morning.
According to Sgt. Vince Lewis of the Phoenix Police Department, at least one person was transported to a local hospital via ambulance. The male victim was in extremely critical condition when authorities arrived at the scene around 2:00 a.m. At least two vehicles were involved, but it’s unclear which vehicle the injured man was driving.
One of the vehicles, a silver sedan, sustained severe front-end damage. It also appears that the airbags deployed on that car and another vehicle involved. The intersection was closed for the next several hours while police investigated the cause of the wreck.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
