Phoenix, AZ (September 22, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash near Black Canyon City resulted in at least one injury, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Officials from the Phoenix Police Department and Phoenix Fire Rescue were on the scene of the wreck, which occurred on southbound Interstate 17 around 6:00 p.m. and involved three vehicles. It appears that at least one victim was transported to an area hospital via ambulance, though their current condition remains unclear at this time. The other victims were treated at the scene by Phoenix emergency medical technicians.

Motorists were advised to delay travel or use alternate routes while officials investigated the cause of the multi-vehicle wreck.
