Phoenix, AZ (December 22, 2020) – At least one person has sustained injuries after a multi-car crash that occurred on Loop 101 near Tatum Boulevard on Tuesday evening.

Officers with the Phoenix Police Department and DPS troopers say that they were dispatched to the scene of the accident around 5:15 p.m. Per initial reports, the wreck occurred in the left lanes of the highway, near the Tatum off-ramp, on westbound Loop 101 Pima. Authorities say that at least one driver sustained injuries in the collision and may have been transported to a hospital via ambulance for evaluation.

It appears that at least two vehicles were involved, but the drivers’ identifying information has not been released.

The cause of this accident is currently under investigation, and further details are not available at this time.
