Phoenix, AZ – Multiple Injuries After Multi-Vehicle Wreck on I-10 at 75th Ave

Phoenix, AZ (July 13, 2019) – One person is in critical condition after a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 10 at 75th Avenue on Saturday, July 13th.

Initial reports of the accident, which occurred around 6:20 p.m., say it was a six-vehicle crash with one vehicle sustaining heavy damage, according to Capt. Kenny Overton of the Phoenix Fire Department.

Three victims of the crash on I-10, also called the Papago Freeway, required medical treatment. Two of the victims have minor injuries but one was in critical condition and transported to a local hospital.

The Tolleson Fire Department was on the scene, along with Phoenix FD, to assist the victims of the injury accident. The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

I-10 at 75th Avenue was closed due to the crash but has since re-opened.

Our thoughts are with the injured victim(s) and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Multi-Vehicle Accidents in Arizona

Of more than 127,000 vehicle accidents across the State of Arizona in 2017, nearly 38,000 resulted in injury. These numbers are part of a year-over-year rise in serious accidents, including injuries or fatalities, in Arizona. And now that more vehicles are on the road during the summer season, the risk of these dangerous incidents is increased.

Serious wrecks can mean unfortunate consequences for victims and their families, including exorbitant medical expenses, long-term injuries, job loss, and more. But victims and their families can contact an accident lawyer in Phoenix for help. In some cases, victims and their families can get fair compensation and the justice they deserve from a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit.
