Phoenix, AZ – Officers Investigating Injury Crash on L-101 at Scottsdale Rd
Phoenix, AZ (August 9, 2020) – At least one person was injured after a multi-car crash occurred in Phoenix on Sunday afternoon.
According to officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, it appears that at least three vehicles were involved in the accident, which happened around 12:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Loop 101 Pima at Scottsdale Road. DPS said no one was sustained life-threatening injuries, though Phoenix paramedics were at the scene to treat victims and may have transported one victim to an area hospital.
The crash closed several lanes of the highway, though it has since been reopened. Officers with the Phoenix Police Department are still investigating the wreck at this time and have not released further details about the cause of the wreck or the extent of the victims’ injuries.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
