Phoenix, AZ – Rollover Accident Involving Arizona Animal Welfare League Truck
Phoenix, AZ (August 1, 2019) – Phoenix Police responded to the scene of a rollover accident involving a transport truck with the Arizona Animal Welfare League.
Police say that the vehicle is used as part of a rescue program in the area and said that shelter volunteers and staffers drive on the roads every week, traveling to rescue homeless animals.
Police have confirmed that the accident caused injuries to the driver but not to any animals, as there were none in the vehicle at the time.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
