Phoenix, AZ – Serious Injuries Reported in Truck Accident at Broadway Rd

Phoenix, AZ (October 20, 2019) – A serious accident involving a semi-truck closed a Phoenix intersection and resulted in serious injuries.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the intersection of Seventh Street and Broadway Road was closed for several hours late Sunday night while officials investigated the wreck. They said the crash involved serious injuries, but it’s unclear how many victims were hurt in the collision. Video from the scene showed a jackknifed semi-truck near a Circle K parking lot with fuel leaking.

It appears that a pickup truck was hit outside of the Circle K building and a Chevrolet SUV with heavy front-end damage was left on the street. Local paramedics were at the scene and appeared to transport at least one victim to the hospital via ambulance.
