Tempe, AZ – Injuries Reported in Multi-Car Crash on L-101 Price at US 60

Tempe, AZ (September 14, 2020) – At least one person was injured after a multi-car crash occurred in Tempe on Monday afternoon.

According to officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, it appears that at least two vehicles were involved in the accident, which happened around 4:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the Loop 101 Price Freeway on the ramp to US 60 eastbound. DPS said no one was sustained life-threatening injuries, though Tempe paramedics were at the scene to treat victims and may have transported one victim to an area hospital.

The crash closed the transition ramp from the L-101 Price, though the freeway has since been reopened. Officers with the Tempe Police Department are still investigating the wreck at this time and have not released further details about the cause of the wreck or the extent of the victims’ injuries.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
