Tempe, AZ – Motorcycle Crash Causes Serious Injury at McClintock Dr
Tempe, AZ (September 30, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash in Tempe on Monday morning.
Officials from the Tempe Police Department say that the motorcyclist collided with a dump truck around 9:15 a.m. near the Rio Salado Parkway and McClintock Drive. According to officers, the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on McClintock Drive and didn’t stop at a red light, causing the crash with the dump truck that was heading eastbound on Rio Salado Parkway.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike during the crash and was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The dump truck driver was treated at the scene.
Impairment is not considered a factor in this accident at this time, though the investigation is ongoing.
