Tucson, AZ – Woman Dies in Head-On Crash at Moore Rd & Zircon Ln


Tucson, AZ (July 14, 2019) – One woman died after a two-vehicle auto accident in Oro Valley on Saturday night, July 13th.

According to the Oro Valley Police Department, the serious crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. near Moore Road and Zircon Lane, west of La Cañada Drive. 

Officers discovered a man outside of his vehicle and a woman trapped inside of her vehicle. Officials say that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was transported to Banner University Medical Center.

An Oro Valley Police Department traffic unit is actively investigating the incident, but no citations have been issued at this time. The victims’ identities have not been released.
