Vicksburg, AZ (May 28, 2020) – A multi-vehicle accident Thursday evening closed the left lanes of State Route 72 near Vicksburg and resulted in at least one injury.

Officials were on the scene around 9:30 p.m. and say that the accident appeared to involve at least two vehicles on SR 72 at milepost 47, near Vicksburg and Hope. Police and fire rescue units responded to the accident in order to assist injured victims and investigate the cause of the wreck.

The drivers’ information, as well as their conditions, have not been released at this time.
