Buckeye, AZ – 3 Officers Hospitalized in Work Accident at Lewis Prison

Buckeye, AZ (November 26, 2019) – Three correctional officers were released from the hospital on Monday after becoming sick while inspecting an inmate’s cell at Lewis Prison, just outside Phoenix. According to a department spokesman, investigators are still sorting out how the three officers were injured. Two additional people were also injured but weren’t hospitalized. Gilbert, AZ (October 16, 2019) – A work accident at a safety training center in Gilbert has left one man dead. The accident occurred at the Gilbert Public Safety Training Facility on Power Road near Pecos Road, according to police. Mesa, AZ (September 21, 2019) – A dump truck driver was seriously injured when his vehicle overturned on Thursday afternoon.
