Avondale, AZ – Officers Investigating Injurious Crash on I-10 at Litchfield Rd
Avondale, AZ (June 3, 2020) – An injury accident that occurred on Wednesday in Avondale is under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
According to police officials, the wreck happened at 10:30 p.m. on Interstate 10 at the Litchfield Road off-ramp. Authorities from DPS said at least two vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of I-10. It’s not clear how the accident happened at this time.
At least one person was injured in the accident and required transport to a local area hospital via ambulance.
Authorities closed the eastbound lanes of I-10 for more than an hour to investigate but have not released further information.
