Glendale, AZ – Rear-End Crash Causes Injuries on SR 51 at Bethany Home Rd
Glendale, AZ (June 20, 2020) – Injuries were reported after a two-car crash occurred on State Route 51 in Glendale on Saturday.
According to officers from the Glendale Police Department, the crash occurred on SR 51, also known as the Piestewa Freeway, near Grand Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 5:30 p.m. Police say that two sedans collided in the northbound HOV lane in an apparent rear-end collision. Local fire rescue units and EMTs were at the scene to treat victims, but the extent of the victims’ injuries is unknown at this time.
Per reports from police, it is unclear if other vehicles were involved at this time, though the area was closed while officers investigated.
