Mesa, AZ – Injuries Reported in Multi-Car Crash on L-101 at L-202 Red Mountain
Mesa, AZ (April 30, 2020) – A multi-vehicle wreck blocked the right lanes of the Loop 101 on-ramp from Loop 202 on Thursday morning and resulted in at least one injury.
According to officials at the scene, it appears that two vehicles collided on L-101 southbound, also known as the Pima Freeway, at L-202 Red Mountain around 8:30 a.m. Fire rescue units, as well as officers from the Mesa Police Department, responded to the crash shortly after it occurred and assisted injured victims. Authorities were also working to determine the cause of the wreck, though the drivers’ information is not known at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
