Phoenix, AZ – Man Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Accident at Bethany Home Rd
Phoenix, AZ (March 6, 2020) – A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck while trying to cross Bethany Home Road on Friday morning.
The unidentified man was hit just before 5:00 a.m. Friday as he crossed mid-block in the area of West Bethany Home Road, per reports from Glendale police spokesperson Tiffany Ngalula. Authorities say that he was possibly hit by two vehicles and both headed eastbound on West Bethany Home Road.
The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to authorities. The drivers involved in the collision remained at the location, and neither speed nor impairment is believed to be a factor, per Ngalula.
Police say both directions of Bethany Home were closed while officers investigated.
