Phoenix, AZ – Truck Crash Causes Injuries on SR 51 at Northern Ave
Phoenix, AZ (July 24, 2020) – Officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety are investigating an injurious truck crash that occurred on State Route 51 in Phoenix on Friday afternoon.
According to initial reports, the crash happened just before 6:30 p.m. on northbound SR 51 at Northern Avenue. DPS says that a large semi was photographed at the side of the highway after apparently spinning out as the result of the collision. EMTs arrived on the scene shortly after the accident occurred and said that victims were being treated at the scene with one possible transport to an area hospital via ambulance.
The cause of the crash is unknown, though officers from the Phoenix Police Department and DPS were both on the scene to conduct their investigation.
