Phoenix, AZ – Two-Car Crash Causes Injuries on I-10 at 35th Ave
Phoenix, AZ (June 2, 2020) – Phoenix police are investigating a car accident that occurred in north Phoenix near 35th Avenue and the Interstate 10 Papago Freeway on Tuesday.
Authorities say that at least two sedans were involved in the crash, which appeared to occur after a rear-end collision in the left lanes of I-10 westbound around 7:30 p.m. It’s not clear how the accident occurred at this time, though officers were at the scene with fire rescue units and EMTs to treat and transport injured victims.
Officers did say that speed appears to be a factor in the crash but the investigation remains ongoing.
Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims in hopes of a full recovery.
Multi-Car Accidents in Arizona
Car accidents in Arizona are all too common. In fact, almost 127,000 collisions took place in 2018 alone. The rate of injurious wrecks, as well as collisions involving multiple vehicles, has only increased over the past decade. Furthermore, Interstate 10 in Arizona is one of the epicenters for injurious or deadly wrecks in the state.
After a crash, the stresses for all involved are exacerbated. Oftentimes, victims and their families must deal with insurance companies, long-term injuries, emotional distress, and financial difficulties. Occasionally, victims may succumb to their injuries, leaving grieving families to pick up the pieces. However, those affected can seek help from a personal injury lawyer and learn more about protecting their legal rights and seeking justice after a multi-car crash.
