San Tan Valley, AZ – Cooper Lamb Hits & Injures Bicyclist on Gary Rd & Judd Rd
San Tan Valley, AZ (July 10, 2020) – The son of Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb is under investigation for his involvement in a crash that severely injured a bicyclist on Wednesday.
Authorities say that Cooper Lamb, 20, was the driver of a car that struck a bicyclist near Queen Creek. The wreck caused serious injuries to the cyclist, according to a statement from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. Officers say that the crash happened in San Tan Valley on Gary Road near Judd Road, just before 7:00 p.m.
Following the accident, Cooper Lamb’s blood was drawn by detectives to test for potential impairment. The cyclist sustained severe injuries and is currently hospitalized.
The crash is under investigation.
