Drowning Accidents in Arizona
When it comes to both pool ownership and drowning accidents in residential areas, Phoenix ranks number one in the nation. Statistically, those who reside close to water or have access to pools are more likely to experience drowning that results in injury or death.
Plus, drowning is the leading cause of accidental death among toddlers and preschool-aged children countrywide. In fact, data shows that nearly 400 children under the age of 15 drown yearly across the country.
These drowning accidents result in tragic consequences for victims and their families. From medical costs to financial difficulties and emotional trauma, the families of drowned victims are left to pick up the pieces. But those affected can contact a personal injury lawyer for help, especially after drowning accidents that occur due to the negligence of others.
