Avondale, AZ – 2-Car Crash Causes Injuries on I-10 at Litchfield Rd
Avondale, AZ (April 20, 2020) – An injury accident that occurred on Monday in Avondale is under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
According to police officials, the wreck happened at 7:00 a.m. on Interstate 10 at the Litchfield Road off-ramp. Authorities from DPS said two vehicles collided in the right westbound lanes of I-10. It’s not clear how the accident happened at this time.
At least one person was injured in the accident and transported to a local area hospital via ambulance.
Authorities closed the westbound lanes of I-10 for more than an hour to investigate but have not released further details.
