Peoria, AZ – Rear-End Truck Crash Causes Injuries on L-101 NB at Peoria
Peoria, AZ (June 8, 2020) – Rush hour traffic slowed on Monday morning after an injurious crash occurred on northbound Loop 101 near the Peoria exit.
Authorities from the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) say that a truck collided with several other sedans in an apparent rear-end collision in the left lanes. Multiple fire trucks and ambulances surrounded the scene, and DPS officials say that there were injuries reported, but it’s not clear how many people were hurt.
Several lanes of the freeway were blocked while officers collected evidence at the scene. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
