Phoenix, AZ – 2-Car Crash Causes Injuries & Vehicle Fire on L-202 at Desert Foothills
Phoenix, AZ (March 25, 2020) – A multi-vehicle wreck on Wednesday afternoon resulted in injured victims, per reports from the Phoenix Police Department.
Local authorities say the accident occurred when two passenger cars collided in the right lanes of L-202 eastbound, also known as the South Mountain Freeway, near the Desert Foothills around 2:40 p.m. Officers say that the crash resulted in a vehicle fire as well.
Fire rescue and police units assisted injured victims and worked to determine the cause of the wreck, though they have not released the drivers’ information at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
