Fatal Truck Accidents in Arizona
According to authorities with the Department of Public Safety, there were almost 12,500 truck and bus accidents, nearly 100 of which resulted in deaths in Arizona, in the last year. Nearly 2,728 truck collisions have ended in death, making these accidents some of the most serious and dangerous on the road.
Furthermore, Arizona has some of the most dangerous roads in the entire country, including several of the freeway loops and Interstate 10, which stretches from Phoenix to California. This stretch of highway alone sees an average of 85 deaths per year, and the entire state averages 700 traffic deaths each year.
Many of these fatalities are the result of driver negligence or accidents involving large trucks. And when it comes to truck accidents, victims may suffer from long-term physical issues, costly medical bills, and even job loss or death as a result of their serious injuries. The nature of these large truck and bus collisions means that victims sustain more serious injuries or even lose their lives as a result of the accident.
