Tucson, AZ – Woman Struck & Injured in Pedestrian Crash at Benson Hwy
Tucson, AZ (May 11, 2020) – Deputies are investigating a pedestrian accident involving a vehicle and a woman who was hit at the Benson Highway in Tucson on Monday.
The pedestrian, an adult female, was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries after the crash at Benson, near Park Avenue and Ajo Way. According to the PCSD traffic unit, officers responded to the scene on Monday morning and restricted traffic in the area during the course of the investigation. It’s unclear if the driver involved in the accident stayed on the scene.
The victim’s identifying information, as well as her current condition, has not been released, but the accident remains under investigation.
