Glendale, AZ (June 7, 2020) – A woman was struck and seriously injured by an alleged drunk driver on Sunday evening.

Per reports from the Glendale Police Department, the woman is in the hospital fighting for her life after getting hit just before 5:00 p.m. in the area of 76th Avenue and Glendale Avenue.

The driver who hit the pedestrian was traveling eastbound from 83rd Avenue and hit the pedestrian on the northside of the road. The pedestrian’s age and name have not been released.

Charges have not been filed yet but the accident investigation is ongoing.
