Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Reported in Multi-Car Crash on L-101 Pima at 7th St & Hayden Rd
Phoenix, AZ (December 3, 2020) – At least one person was injured after a multi-car accident occurred in Phoenix on Thursday evening.
According to officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, it appears that at least two vehicles were involved in the accident, which happened around 6:00 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Loop 101 near Hayden Road and 7th Street. DPS said no one sustained life-threatening injuries, though Phoenix paramedics were at the scene to treat victims and may have transported one victim to an area hospital.
The crash closed several lanes of the Loop 101 Pima eastbound, though the freeway has since been reopened. Officers with the Phoenix Police Department are still investigating the wreck at this time and have not released further details about the cause of the wreck or the extent of the victims’ injuries.
