Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Reported in Truck Accident on I-10 at Stack Interchange
Phoenix, AZ (November 12, 2020) – A crash involving a large truck carrying a crane closed part of westbound Interstate 10 in Phoenix on Thursday afternoon and resulted in serious injuries.
According to reports from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a passenger car and the truck collided in the area before the Stack Interchange, causing a serious crash that resulted in at least one injured victim. The driver of the truck appeared to be injured, per initial reports from the Phoenix Police Department, and was transported to an area medical center. The driver of the passenger car also sustained injuries, though it’s unclear if they were transported to a hospital or treated at the scene.
Officers with the Phoenix Police Department said that the right lanes of westbound I-10 were closed at the Stack because of the crash. The road has since reopened, but the crash is still under investigation.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families. We hope for their full recovery.
